Each morning, our guests are treated to a delicious continental stype breakfast.
The jams, bread and pastries are most often made “in-house” by Béatrice, who has a qualification in pastry making.
At midday, our summer kitchen in the pool house can be used freely for barbecue or salad as you wish.
In the evening and upon reservation, Beatrice can cook a light and tasty family meal, according to your potential dietry requirements.
Environmental policy
At Château de Pourpry, we have undertaken a process of reducing the environmental footprint since the first renovation work.
This approach is deployed in areas as diverse as energy, water or the preservation of biodiversity, but also in inclusiveness, well-being and accessibility.
Far from being an isolated fad, we follow an Ecolabel defined by the European Commission which entrusted organizations such as Green Tourism with awarding recognized certification.
We are now certified at the “bronze” level, on our way to the silver and gold level.
This document briefly summarizes the points on which we were able to make some progress. Reality is a bit more complex with some 200+ criterias to validate and monitor.
